Sally Irene Crumbacher

Sally Irene Crumbacher, 90, of Du Quoin, went to be with her Lord at 11:55 P.M., Monday, September 27, 2004 at the Marshall Browning Hospital in Du Quoin.
Sally was a retired supervisor at Forrest City Garment Co. in Du Quoin. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Du Quoin. She was a board member, Elder and Sunday School teacher at the church. She was a member of the Eastern Star and the White Shrine.	
Sally was born February 27, 1914 at Coulterville, IL the daughter of Edward and Emma (Wollenstein) Brownlee.
She married Harvey McElvain on November 24, 1937 at St. Louis, MO. He passed away January 1980. She then married Leslie Crumbacher on April 1981 at Du Quoin. He passed away August 1989.
She is survived by a daughter- Nina Hill and husband Maurice of Du Quoin, son- Edward Harvey McElvain of Seattle, WA, grandchildren- Christy Watt of Carbondale, Kim and David Buschschulte of Wood River, Michael and Shannon Hill of Nashville, TN, Joshua and Michelle McElvain of Seattle, WA and Hillary and Tom Dowling of Seattle, WA, great grandchildren- Hallie and Sammy Dowling of Seattle, WA and Blake Hill of Nashville, TN.
Funeral services were at 10:00 A.M., Friday, October 1, 2004 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Dr. John Lewis officiating.
Friends called from 5 to 8 P.M. Thursday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.
Interment was in the McElvain Cemetery at Du Quoin.
